History of Weavers' A-OK Exterminators |
The following is a short history
of Weavers' A-OK Exterminators, which may be of some value to you
in making your final decision for an exterminator you can count on.
Jim
Weaver, in 1960, moved to Kansas City from Oklahoma and established
Weavers' A-OK Exterminators. After approximately one year of phenomenal
growth, he convinced his two brothers Jack and Harold to join the
company.
Two years later, their mother came on board as secretary, consultant
and referee, as boys will be boys. In 1979, Harold, missing home,
sold back his interest in the company and moved back to Oklahoma.
Four years later, Jack also sold his share to Jim Weaver.
After two years of retirement, Jack came back to the company, as he
missed the public. To this day, Jack Weavers' knowledge and abilities
as a field technician and consultant are invaluable assets to our
operation.
In 1982, Jim's son George, already a 10-year veteran in the pest industry,
took over the company and remains the driving force behind our continued
success and growth. George's wife of 27 years, Marty, is in the office
on a daily basis, not as a visitor, but is the full time office manager
at the main office.
Of their three children, George Jr. is one of the top salespeople
for the company. Brock Weaver, although in college, works for the
company during summer break. Rachel, last but not least, is a Graduate
of Beautician school and is now attending Kansas State University.
George's sister Fonda runs the west branch office.
Weavers' A-OK Exterminators is still a family owned and operated business.
It will remain that way, as we feel it is important to you, the customer
that you will not become a number, but remain a real person and neighbor
to us.
We hope the above information will make you more comfortable in making
your final decision. |
Thank You, George Weaver Sr.
